My bodyman Thomas did a great job up to here. Before starting with the last chapter of this incredible body-restoration, it's time to do some minor patchwork to the dashboard, tunnel and the firewall. The Picture will start implementation of the new outer rocker driver side. Unfortunately this part wasn't a original and caused a lot of additional work. Thomas did the folding of the lower and upper ends totaly new to make this one fit! At point remember to take NOS or good used original parts when ever possible. The aligment of the fender and the door is perfect like at the other side. At the dashboard some minor sheet metal was welded in. The common radio cut and the for germany common damage aroung the ignition switch are gone now. Also the rough cut in the tunnel and in the firewall wan't be seen again...
The next step will be recreation of the trunk area and with we will finish the body-restoration and will switch to paintjob pages, which will be also very interesting for you!
