Left inner Apron & Firewall Repair

The next part going out was the rear fender apron. I'm pretty sure that there is still some sheet metal which will stay untouched, but I couldn't actually answer which one... There was still a lot of work to get this part looking like the original one, but finally it fits perfect. While mouting the fender for test purposes I realize that outer rocker extension at the right side was too thin to hold the attaching nut and we did a repair on that too. After that the firewall extension was the next area we care for. Just see agian the paint lines for measuring to receive a well fitting part. Take a look at torque box picture to see that outer rocker wasn't welded because it will go out with the inner rocker at the next session at page 12... |
