This is the point where the nightmare began. After boring out the first spot welds more and more of the hidden rust appears. I rember when I ask the bodyman what's about the outer rocker panel, because it was quite looking good to me, he told me to put the cleaning wheel on it and I was immedeatly covered in a cloud of white bondo which was hold by some srews to the rest of the outer rocker. After doing some cutouts so that he could start working on that, I start with the reskinning of the doors which were also rusted through. I carefully get the old skin down and guess was I found - More rust. I brought them away for sandblasting and did some minor welding and what I received back. In the meantime the bodyman work already on the inner wheelhouse, after the old one was cut out too...
