Primering after the Sandblasting
|
After finishing the Sandblasting I took the rest (still some there!) of the car, for a complete primering job. This is neccessary to prevent the bare metal getting rusty again. After that we took a closer look to see the result of the blast. The good news was that I now have a 100% rustfree car. The bad news were, that we discovered several new holes which need replacement. Both Torque-boxes, the inner rocker were shot and also the floors and the firewall didn't look as good as before. I needed one weeks to get over this hill, before I felt my emergy for this rustoration comes back. Then I took my parts catalog to do some additional orders. |
